How I Grew a Life-Changing Income Stream in Less Than One Year

Ready to take control of your future?

If you’re serious, REALLY serious, it can be done more quickly than you might think..

At the end of 2014, my account began with a single post..

@incometips First Instagram Post

I built an audience of 10,000 people in less than one month..

@incometips 10,000 Followers in One Month

People started asking if they could pay me to teach them what I was learning. This enabled me to charge $300 to $350 for just over an hour of my time..

Companies offered to pay me too..

I was able to work my “job” less and travel more. I spent a week on Ko Tao, an amazing island in Thailand..

Three more weeks in Bali where I had the opportunity to scuba diva the USS Liberty Shipwreck..

Scuba Diving in Bali, Indonesia

and explored the beautiful beaches of Vietnam during my tour of 11 international cities.

My growing influence even helped me land a free all-inclusive stay at a 5-star hotel in Dubai.

I also hosted a retreat for entrepreneurs at a private villa in Florida..

ALL of this happened in less than one year. Now, I’m bringing my brand-building experience to you!

I’m Kenneth Badgett – creator of Income Tips, Author, Event Host, Life Coach, and “Social Influencer” (although I feel a bit silly using that last term to describe myself).

Not long ago I was..

A lot can change in twelve months!

My time owning a liquidation company (pictured above) taught me an important lesson – simply having a product is NOT enough to win in business.

I was helping companies sell off thousands in inventory each week for pennies on the dollar, further proving this theory true. They used their big budgets to create solutions to problems they assumed people had, but never actually took the time to validate their ideas.

When I launched @incometips, I decided to start from the other end of the spectrum.

Instead of creating a product and then trying to find an audience to buy it..

I set out to build an audience first, knowing that the audience would tell me the kinds of products they wished existed once I gained their trust.

I identified a niche to serve (in my case people looking for legitimate ways to earn extra income) and created content for them to gather around.

People try to make the process of building a business more complicated than that, but it really doesn’t have to be.

If you..

  • Have a general idea of what you would like to get paid to do.
  • Are willing to put forth a consistent effort.
  • Have a desire for a better life (you need this to keep you motivated).

Then you have everything you need to get paid doing something you love.

If you want to shorten your learning curve on that road to success, I’ve created a tool to help you based on my experience.

It’s not just my experience you’re benefiting from in this guide..

Launching Income Tips increased my access to some incredibly talented people. Through a shared interest in empowering others, I met Ivy Ejam on Instagram (creator of @mindingherbusiness). We have collaborated on some amazing projects, including this definitive step-by-step guide.

We’ve combined both of our resources, expertise, and our EXACT brand building strategy into one convenient interactive PDF. This acts as a definitive plan for you to begin building your brand RIGHT AWAY.

In the first few pages of our guide, you’re greeted with an intro and a list of 28 important tasks. You can print this checklist out or fill it out digitally as you go along. These tasks act as your table of contents and visual roadmap – with each task completed bringing you a step closer to your influential brand.

To be successful, you need the right mindset. In this guide, we also go over the common fears that brand-builders face (we faced them too) and address how those fears can actually be used to your advantage.

Following that, is an overview on the importance of branding and various exercises to help you establish your brand’s foundation. We’ll help you ask the important questions that any new (or growing) brand needs to answer.

We then tackle how to visually represent your brand, help you figure out a name, issue a tutorial on how to publish a professional website, go over the importance of an email list, show you how to set an email list up, and dig into building your social platform.

Although our expertise is in Instagram, our strategies are universal. Our methods will assist you in building a presence on any platform you choose – it’s all about using your creativity and main mission as a guide.

I’ve seen a lot of people blame not “getting started” on poor time management and a lack of visible progress – that won’t be you!

If you stick to our step-by-step plan, the results you see will guarantee that you stick it out. To assist you further in sticking to the plan however, at the very end of our guide we’ve created a 30-day S.M.A.R.T. Goals sheet.

If you’re unfamiliar with what S.M.A.R.T. Goals are…

A S.M.A.R.T. goal is defined as one that is specific, measurable, achievable, results-focused, and time- bound. Below is a definition of each of the S.M.A.R.T. goal criteria.

Specific: Goals should be simplistically written and clearly define what you are going to do.

Measurable: Goals should be measurable so that you have tangible evidence that you have accomplished the goal.

Achievable: Goals should be achievable; they should stretch you slightly so you feel challenged, but defined well enough so that you can achieve them.

Results-focused: Goals should measure outcomes, not activities.

Time-bound: Goals should be linked to a timeframe that creates a practical sense of urgency, or results in tension between the current reality and the vision of the goal.

We’ll share with you the list of goals that we personally set for ourselves in order to ensure growth with our brands.

For example, I set a goal to hit 100,000 followers by my 29th birthday in May of 2015. Once this goal was in place, I had the ability to create an effective strategy by reverse engineering the steps necessary to make it happen.

This approach can be replicated for other important milestones.
